While Americans Go Without Jobs, India's Offshore Outsourcing Business is Booming
While Americans go without jobs, India's offshore outsourcing business is booming. In Technology companies are aggressively hiring as business prospects improve, we can see just how many American companies are creating jobs....in India.
Accenture will add 8,000 in India this year alone. That’s a 20% increase. Honeywell will also add 1,000 jobs....again, not in the United States, but in India.
The employment engine, which had choked last year due to the global economic slowdown, is rolling again with the revival of the western markets where 80% of the IT clients are concentrated.
When Indian press says Western Markets, that means our jobs, American jobs, being further offshore outsourced.
Infosys, a major offshore outsourcing company based in India, will add 24,000 workers this year, and much of the reason is they need new workers to do what used to be U.S. jobs.
I strongly recommend writing your Congress representatives and ask for a hearing on how many TARP bank recipients and other government hand out companies, or the government itself, are busy sending taxpayer money to create jobs in India, or how many U.S. companies are busy....creating jobs in India. How many of those companies, especially IBM and other ones, are receiving tax breaks to create jobs in the United States?
This is just outright theft on an entire market sector, sending hundreds of thousands of American workers to the poor house.
