Patrick Thibodeau, a reporter doing an exceptional job covering the great global labor arbitrage agenda against U.S. professionals, writes U.S. steps up H-1B, green card assault with paper chase:

The program now appears to be under attack from worker bees in the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services bureau and other regulatory agencies, who have dramatically increased the amount of paperwork required from employers looking to hire workers with green cards or H-1B visas.

Immigration attorneys say the primary tool used by the regulators is what's called a request for evidence. The USCIS and other agencies can make such requests of those who apply for an H-1B visa or permanent residency application and renewal. In recent months, use of the tool is becoming more far-reaching, asking for information such as corporate payroll records, zoning maps and even building fire-safety plans, they added.

Unfortunately Thibodeau lets through some propaganda, most assuredly generated from immigration attorneys who get very rich by assisting in services to displace U.S. workers. The problem is not under attack and more the USCIS is finally doing it's job.

Shihab claims that the government is particularly profiling IT firms that hire mostly Indian nationals.

Oh bummer immigration attorneys! Maybe your cash cow of making fat fees by displacing U.S. workers, importing cheap labor and denying Americans jobs in America is being challenged!

Oh we feel so sorry for you! But I have an idea....I'm fairly certain your productivity would dramatically increase if we offshore outsourced immigration attorney tasks! I think that's a grand idea! I'm positive the best and the brightest in other countries should be enabled to do your job! They can do it much better and for 1/100th of the price!

Everybody else agree with this? Let's make immigration attorneys more productive and offshore outsource this profit sector shall we?
