Benedict Arnold CEOs demanding Congress increase foreign guest worker Visas during double digit unemployment!
These people will stop at nothing to displace U.S. workers. Tech Industry Execs Hit Washington D.C.:
A group of 10 tech-industry executives spent Tuesday and Wednesday lobbying members of Congress and the Obama administration on issues like taxes, immigration reform, and software piracy.
For instance, they advocated raising the cap on so-called H-1B visas that allow skilled workers into the country on a temporary basis. They also argued against proposed tax measures that would target money made overseas. (Currently profits that stay overseas tend not to be taxed unless they are brought back to the U.S.) One possible response is that companies could restructure operations to put them outside the reach of U.S. tax laws. Ballmer told Bloomberg that the change would make U.S. jobs more expensive–and that the company would be better off moving more jobs out of the country–not exactly the result the administration would like.
Now there they go again. Threatening to offshore outsource jobs when the H-1B and L-1 Visas are the outsourcing Visas. They enable the offshore outsourcing of jobs!
