Advanced Skills? Job offshore outsourced? You should retrain to be a nurse caring for crazy people
Oh those advanced degrees which took 5, 7, 9 years to get? Forget it. In the article jobs that won't be outsourced, you should consider mowing laws or retraining to be a psychiatric nurse...oops, they are importing foreign nurses, I forgot. So we can have imported foreign nurses taking care of all of the people who went nuts after losing their careers and livelihoods.
Tech jobs are among the most heavily outsourced. Research firm Computer Economics recently estimated that more than half of all software application development work was contracted out last year, often to workers in other countries, along with 44 percent of application maintenance tasks and 40 percent of website and e-commerce work.
The article is ridiculous in claiming that anyone can get immediate training to be a nurse. That's completely false. There are not enough seats in nursing school and people are turned away in droves. 31,000 people were rejected from nursing school in 2007 who were completely qualified. Of course we can import foreign nurses, but deny Americans opportunity to become one.
The new trend
The new trend is shipping sick patients overseas.
it is
which of course is ridiculous if one is really sick to jump on an international flight for 20 hours in the air to get help.
