Arrogant Americans Need not Apply!

Finally a major news organization covers an ad most U.S. techies see every day.

Fox News has discovered discriminatory job ads and this one says Help Wanted -- 'Arrogant Americans' Need Not Apply:

An information technology staffing firm based in Rolling Meadows, Ill., posted an advertisement for a technical writer that warned that an "arrogant American" would not flourish in the position.

Ridiculous response from a Craigslist ad

Folks, in real life I have specialty skills, very hard to find specialty skills.

Here is the email I received when I responded to a Craigslist ad:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is regarding your recent craiglist job application for the openings either in our company's Canada or US department. After careful review of your resume among hundreds of ones, we are inviting you to conduct a phone interview soon. Before we call you we should get some important information below.

Discriminatory Job Ads

Often we see brazen discriminatory job ads. This topic is to post them online, link to the original posting and the company.

For example, this ad by Technosoft Corporation, posted on Dice is brazenly discriminatory.
