Where have all the ######### gone? Long time passing...

The other day, I was looking for links to videos of the Cohen & Grigsby debacle of 2007. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this incident, it caused a minor scandel in the anti-visa community. Essentially, Cohen & Grigsby, a Pittsburgh law firm specializing in providing H1-B services to employers, gave a conference on how the H1-B process works. They took videos of the event and were so proud of how well things went that they posted the videos on the web. It turns out that the videos documented C&G coaching attendees on how to skirt the requirements in the H1-B program that were designed to protect American workers.

Majority of Tech Help Wanted in Sacramento Bee are PERM Sham Ads

When an employer wishes to sponsor an H-1b worker for a green card, they are required to run a few ads in the Sunday newspaper as "good faith" recruitment to demonstrate that no qualified Americans are available for the position. "Good faith” is subjective, as the immigration attorney in this Cohen and Grigsby video illustrates: www.youtube.com/programmersguild/.

Carly Fiorina for U.S. Senate? NOT!

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina has deployed website www.carlyforcalifornia.com  in her possible challenge to Senator Barbara Boxer's U.S. Senate seat. I have created opposition site www.carlyforcalifornia.INFO  that summarizes why she might not be qualified to represent the interests of the U.S., and of U.S. citizens.

Post your feedback to Alejandro Mayorkas Director, USCIS

Alejandro Mayorkasm thew new Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, has posted a message "Exciting Changes at USCIS" which includes room for feedback.

Nearly all 250 comments are from temporary foreign workers (H-1b etc) with the message "hurry up and give me my green card - I work and pay taxes!"

I have posted the following, and encourage others to post their feedback of how UCSIS can better serve the interests of current U.S. citizens and U.S. workers.

Synergies Summit in Washington DC June 16-17

<<<<< JOB DESTRUCTION NEWSLETTER No. 2024 -- 6/11/2009 >>>>>

It looks like the lobbying campaign for more H-1Bs and more offshoring to
India is getting underway. An event called the "Synergies Summit" that is
sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the US India Business Council
(USIBC), will be held in Washington DC on June 16-17.

Make no mistake about it -- the purpose of the summit is to promote Indian
immigration to the U.S. and the offshoring of U.S. industries to India. You
can bet the Indians will also use this opportunity to push their nuclear
