India thinks displacing American workers is "trade" and the U.S. is "protectionist"
Submitted by admin on Tue, 08/17/2010 - 14:24This is pretty incredible. India believes displacing American workers with imported Indian ones is somehow a trade issue. Slave trade maybe.
According to AFP, India is thinking of challenging the fact a nation gets to control it's own immigration policy, along with the very notion that somehow giving U.S. jobs away to foreign nations, is something the WTO would rule against the United States on.

"Comprehensive" Immigration Reform turns U.S. educational system into a green card ATM
Submitted by admin on Thu, 04/29/2010 - 19:30Here we go. We have record unemployment, mega high rejection rates to even get in to higher education and lest we not mention massive domestic diversity and age discrimination in high tech.
So, in response, our Senators want to turn our education system into a glorified green card ATM:
The NFAP is Ridiculous
Submitted by admin on Tue, 04/27/2010 - 16:48Think about it. the NFAP, a one man lobbyist shop, spewing misinformation on H-1B per their corporate clients, is now claiming Less than 1% of the workforce is H-1B.
Just to note, I have no idea, (except $$$$), what any respectful journalist would bother to write up their fictional garbage.
But let's think this through shall we? The U.S. workforce is 154 million. That's nice. The number of people employed in the U.S. is about 139 million.

In Judge deals U.S. major setback in H-1B fraud case, Patrick Thibodeau at Computer World details the latest:
The government transferred those images to a computer expert who then extracted all the files matching the search criteria established by the federal agent in charge of gathering the evidence.

Submitted by admin on Wed, 04/07/2010 - 11:42Here goes our U.S. Treasury Secretary to India. Of course India is demanding our jobs.
India wants the U.S. to relax its export controls over high-tech products. The country also would like the U.S. Congress to give work visas to more Indian high-tech workers.
And in the U.S., business leaders want India to open up its defense, banking and retail sectors.
