New Study Confirms H-1B and L-1 just cheap labor, offshore outsourcing conduit, not about immigration

A new study has been put out by EPI that proves foreign guest workers are all about cheap labor, technology transfer and not about immigration into the U.S.

In Bridge to Immigration or Temporary Cheap Labor?, we have these reasons corporations are busy using foreign guest workers.

Economy in Crisis Calls Out Bill Gates and Lobbyist H-1B Propaganda

One might read this op-ed on the beyond belief insanity that somehow displacing Americans helps the U.S. economy (if that was true we'd all be millionaires by now!)

But there are some numbers quotes which if true are much worse than I thought:

Age Discrimination Anyone?

New figures show most H-1B Visa holders are under the age of 35.

Where are all of the STEM people over 40 working at U.S. tech jobs? Can one see how H-1B is obviously being used to age discriminate? Fire the American, especially if they are over 35 and replace them with a cheap, young H-1B foreign guest worker?

Here We Go Again - Destroying U.S. STEM under the Guise of "Immigration Reform"

Once again we have a job killing, let's wipe out all U.S. Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering Professionals agenda parading around as Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

First the bill title is (so you know what to say when you call your representatives repeatedly and demand they defeat this bill):

The Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act of 2009, or CIR ASAP. It is sponsored by the notorious illegal immigrant and corporate Representative, Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.).

Programmers Guild response to the guy who calls us "Xenophobes Who Need To Go Back Into Their Caves"

On December 5, 2009 Vivek Wadhwa posted "The Startup Visa And Why The Xenophobes Need To Go Back Into Their Caves"

The new “Startup visa” is sketched out here: http://startupvisa.com/about/ .

Vivek claims that this Startup visa "is about creating American jobs and moving innovation here which would otherwise happen in other countries. We can boost the economy without any cost to taxpayers. It’s not about admitting H-1B visa holders who sometimes make Americans compete for high-paying jobs, but bringing in entrepreneurs who expand the pie for everyone."

Vivek believes that everyone should see the benefit of his idea - and those who don't are "xenophobes": “I was convinced that my last BusinessWeek column on the Startup visa presented such a compelling argument that even these poor souls [aka American tech workers] would support it.”

Why would idiot Thomas Friedman even get an invite to a state luncheon with Obama?

At a state luncheon, idiot Thomas Friedman, who has proclaimed The World is Flat got a seat at the table.

Why??? Not only is he not an economist, his book has been debunked over and over and over again....by people who are economists!

So, why would just a nonsensical idiot get to be at a state luncheon, while scores of real economists cannot even get their policy recommendations and analysis read by this administration?

New Plan for 25,000 H-1B On-site Inspections

Well, it's not reform but at least it is some good news. Immigration officials are planning 25,000 onsite inspections.

Hopefully they will not announce they are coming, for lord knows, one would have a heads up to hide the fraud.

U.S. immigration officials are taking H-1B enforcement from the desk to the field with a plan to conduct 25,000 on-site inspections of companies hiring foreign workers over this fiscal year.
