U.S. sues AT&T for age discrimination:

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued AT&T Inc on Thursday, accusing the nation's largest phone company of discriminating against workers over 40.

It appears AT&T is demanding more concessions from the struggling unions.

Despite their solid financial position, AT&T is demanding that IBEW and CWA members and retirees hold the line on wages and agree to bear huge increases in their health care costs, and cuts in their pensions.
